The Key to the Holiday Season – Giving Back!

At Waltham Pest Services, doing charitable work all year long is normal for us. From packing backpacks with school supplies to sponsoring an employee riding in charity motorcycle runs to stuffing stockings for a cause, the team at Waltham loves to get together and give back. But there’s something about the holidays that makes it even more meaningful and even more important.

This holiday season, the team came together to run a super successful Toy Drive for Key Program, Inc. Key’s mission is to assist children and their families to develop positive life skills so they can pursue productive and rewarding lives. Their programs resonate with us here at Waltham Pest Services because our coworkers are more than that – they’re our extended family. So, supporting the family structure and setting children up for success is something we can all agree upon!

We spoke to Commercial Sales Manager Brad Petty about the toy drive. He said, “It was a big success this year, and our contact at Key Program, Inc. was so happy.” He also said, “Keep in mind, these are children that may not have received any presents at all from Santa this year. Because of the generosity of the Waltham team, they will have gifts when they wake up this Christmas morning.”

The Waltham Pest Services team was able to collect and donate 100 toys that will be handed out to local children in need – bringing much-needed smiles to their faces this holiday season. When the toys were dropped off, Lynn from the Key Program was not only happy to meet the Waltham team but said that the gifts will make a very happy Christmas for several kids in the area. She also said, “Our sincere thanks and appreciation to you and your staff and a very blessed Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!”

The good news is it was our team’s pleasure to do this. Just the thought of the smiles on those kids’ faces makes it all so very worth it.
